Wiring loom for the stereo had been cut at one point so thats been resoldered and i've fitted a new stereo.£29 on clearance at Halfords.bargain! Parcel shelf repalced with an uncut one from a breaker Got rid of that daft metal "aero" fuel cap cover and replaced it with standard Tomorrow i'll clean it properly as I've gone and got some stain remover and deal with the front wheel arch trim which has come loose. Here's a vid of it running though Īs you can see the airbag light is on.not sure what to do about that.I can either try and fix or maybe just get a sport steering wheel and ditch the airbag? Not sure. I also removed the 2 6x9s, amp, head unit and parrot and wiring Īnd fixed the rear boot lock which wasn't catching.just needed repositioning.
#Saxo vtr quickshift crack#
Here's the old seized one - huge crack through it!Īny the new one fitted with new belt (150 with the old one in exchange which is pretty good IMO) Its sat outside his house for a few months now due the alternator going so tax/mot have expired but me and my dad collected it via a trailer today įirst things first the alternator.I bought one earlier in the week for 30 quid but it didn't fit.apparently there's 8 types for the VTR? Anyway I headed down to Overton dismantlers but they didn't have any and there was none on ebay so I ended up at Eurocarparts for a new one.

One of the guys at work was selling a Saxo VTR so I decided to go for it Recently I finished the KMX motorbike I bought last year and have been looking for a new project. Been a while since I was on here.think the last Renault I had was the Clio RSI and that went some years back.
